CSR
As a company that is active all over the world, social responsibility is extremely important to us. Thun has made a commitment to act in accordance with the principles contained in its "charter for social responsibility" and to influence its business partners accordingly wherever possible.
The health and safety of our employees, not to mention a fair wage policy, are just as important to us as a pleasant working environment. The latter is achieved by various means, including the dogs who are of course allowed to come to the office with their owners. As a result, some employees spend their lunch breaks in the woods that back on to the company premises. After all, it would be hard to find a greener location than ours, right on the Ennepe river. Several hiking trails cross our site and visitors often see our employees riding bicycles and pedelecs around the premises (complete with helmet, of course), either for the purposes of testing or private use, since every kilometre that our employees ride equates to a subsidy. We also aim to support our employees should they find themselves suffering personal crises, via our internally financed employee fund.

We do not tolerate child or forced labour or any form of discrimination within our own organisation, nor by our suppliers or business partners. Thun also supports local and global certified organisations that are active in the fields of animal protection, human rights and the environment.
