Nachhaltigkeit

BLUE SPIRIT influences both our major and minor decisions. So sustainability is a significant issue, especially in terms of the procurement and use of consumables and durables. For example, at Thun you will only find fair trade organic coffee and up to 100% recycled paper. We always use both sides of our paper for internal purposes and are aiming to achieve a paperless office environment. Even online research is done via a "green" search engine. When purchasing office equipment and refurbishing our premises we take note of the origins of the materials involved and ensure that they are free of harmful substances.

We are also striving to become a CO2-neutral site. In practice, this means we are continuously minimising our CO2 emissions and neutralising the emissions we do produce by investing in projects such as wind farm construction or tree planting.

What's more, our investments and development work are heavily geared towards the modes of transport of the future. The bicycle is the most environmentally sound means of transport there is and it will take on an even greater significance in the future, as resources become ever scarcer and populations in urban centres continue to grow. Intermobility and electromobility are the buzzwords that we must always bear in mind when it comes to all our new developments.
